What is on this page?
The whole Quran. All 114 suras and 6,234 verses, in English, with the Arabic beneath each verse. Every section subtitle and every footnote is in place. The transliteration is there too, behind a button at the top of each sura. Nothing is abridged and nothing is summarised. Each sura is its own page, so a passage can be linked to and shared as it is.
How do we jump to a particular verse?
Open the sura and use the box at the top marked Go to verse. Every verse also has its own address. The link in the reference beside it can be copied and shared, and it opens the page at the right place. The search page takes a reference straight: typing 2:177 there brings the verse up, with a link into this reader.
Which translation is this, and can we compare it?
Quran: The Final Testament, by Rashad Khalifa. The whole site quotes this same text, so nothing here can disagree with a page elsewhere. Reading a verse against another translation is worth doing. That is why the Arabic sits beneath each verse, and not on a separate page. Nothing here asks to be taken on trust, the choice of translation included. If a line looks strange, check it.
